Azimuth SP-1 Mechanique…a spaceship watch

Hey! Have you ever heard about ‘spaceship watch’? If not Azimuth’s brand new SP-1 Mechanique concept watch is the one. This brand new watch is nicknamed as a ‘spaceship watch’, with a rendition of Earth, a globular decorative feature that makes one rotation every 60 seconds. At every look you’ll feel as if you are gazing at the universe from the inside of a space shuttle. Its enigmatic jet-black dial is showered with tiny specks of white like stars on clear night. The dial of this spaceship watch is mesmerizing with a jumping hour display powered by a Unitas 6497 movement finely finished in Cotes de Geneve stripes, a rotating disc and framed by the short end of the 3-dimensional minute hand. The broad minute hand comes finished with a skeletonized outline that resembles a space shuttle hurtling across the universe. Its 45mm stainless steel case with stretched out lugs is capped by a domed sapphire crystal to lend the watch a multi-dimensional look.
