Grande Vitesse is Longines’ timepiece of high performance sport chronographs with fluid lines, aerodynamic curves and attractive graphics. The watch is inspired by the automobile and mechanical sports world and is equipped with the Bore L667 (ETA 7750 Valjoux), 25 Rubin, 28,800 alternations/hour plus 42-hour power reserve.
The case is made of polished and satin-finished steel, 42mm of diameter and has black aluminum or polished steel bezel with Mach 2 (km/h or mph) tachometer scale. The watch features anti-reflective sapphire crystal, transparent sapphire back and offers water-resistance up to 50m. Dial is black and chocolate brown or silvered sunray with Superluminova large number 12 and hour-markers. The Arabic numeral 12 is inspired by racing car markings. The strap is in black or brown leather with folding clasp or in steel with triple safety folding clasp.
