Audemars Piguet dedicates Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph to the Singapore Grand Prix

Grand Prix is coming to Singapore and so is the Royal Oak Offshore Singapore Grand Prix chronograph by Audemars Piguet in limited edition of only 250 pieces. And not to our surprise this is not the only watch dedicated to the grand prix, it comes third after Richard Mille and TAG Heuer. The makers of this watch have shown the same passion and effort that goes in for making an automobile. Starting from the mechanics, the material, hand sewn leather strap, sapphire crystal and last but not the least, the name – Royal Oak Offshore-Limited Edition Singapore Grand Prix 2008 – inscribed on the back. There’s perfection in every detail, what else can a man ask for in a watch? The case measures 42mm by 15mm and an octagonal shape, the watch is 100 meters waterproof and has a power reserve for 60 hrs. According to the makers, the design was inspired by formula one car including the forged carbon casing, the combination of red and black, metal and rubber, a 22 carat gold rotor and what else. You can’t ask more for a car; oh! Sorry, a watch. Go get it people! Image Via: professionalwatches
